Each surgery has a core of trained, competent, and knowledgeable nursing and reception staff. There are a total of 11 non-medical staff, plus the practice manager. Each surgery has a senior receptionist who oversees the day-to-day running of her particular surgery, while overall responsibility for the practice lies with the manager.

Reception and Nursing Staff.

Colleen, a senior Receptionist at Proserpine, has been a staff member for 10 years. Her expertise lies in her intimate and encyclopedic local knowledge.

Anita Tawse. An EN, works at Proserpine. Like other staff members Anita uses many talents in the various roles demanded of a nurse/medical receptionist. She also looks after the stock ordering and distribution of the supplies.

Lynda Tennyson. An RN with board experience, Lynda is the senior receptionist at Airlie Beach. Lynda is kept busy by the doctors with the wide range of procedures performed.

michelle Schultz. Also an RN assists Lynda in carrying out her nursing duties.

Shelly Ekert. Receptionist at Proserpine and helps out in Airlie Beach when needed.

Diane Fletcher. Receptionist at both surgeries, Diane uses her communication skills in all facets of the position.

Jane Raphael. Receptionist at both surgeries, Jane is a widely experienced stenographer and has picked up the medical receptionist skills very easily.

Karan Hazeel. Receptionist at both surgeries. Joined the practice and is using her previously aquired medical receptionist skills to assist the patients.

All staff are involved in ongoing training whenever appropriate courses are available, and come to the computing courses which are run intermittently in the area.
